Overpronation is when your foot rolls too far inward and you push off with your big toe. May happen if you have flat feet. Choose shoes with stability or motion-control.

Supination is when upon landing your foot rolls to the outside and stops at the pinkie toe, making your foot rigid before push-off. May happen if you have high arches. Choose neutral-cushioned shoes.
